 Role Designation: Hybrid with a requirement to go into our Markham office once or twice a month. 

 

Job Description 

In this role, you will support the delivery of business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across Operations. You will work with large datasets to uncover insights, identify opportunities, and support the development of reporting and analytics solutions that improve operational performance. 

You’ll play a key role in a new and evolving environment, contributing to the growth of Allstate’s direct sales channel. By combining strong analytical thinking with technical skills, you will help ensure data is accurate, accessible, and actionable—supporting both day-to-day business needs and longer-term strategic objectives. 

 

Accountabilities: 

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement and growth 

  • Aggregate, validate, and prepare data to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting and insights 

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support operational and business decision-making 

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather and document data and reporting requirements 

  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards 

  • Identify and resolve data issues, system discrepancies, and reporting challenges 

  • Uncover actionable insights and communicate findings to support business improvements 

  • Contribute to the development of metrics and ensure alignment across BI solutions 

  • Support application and reporting projects as a data subject matter expert 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate insights 

  • Demonstrated experience working with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI 

  • Proficiency in Excel and working with large datasets 

  • Familiarity with data querying or coding tools (e.g., SQL or similar) 

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify data quality issues and inconsistencies 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment 

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and support requirements gathering 

  • Curiosity and a proactive mindset, with a desire to explore data and uncover opportunities

Compensation

Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 66,200.00 - 107,150.00 annually.  Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
