Accountabilities
- Develop and lead comprehensive HEOR and RWE strategies that align with product development, medical affairs, and market access objectives for gastrointestinal oncology programs.
- Design and execute integrated evidence generation plans that support product value, reimbursement, and healthcare decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional leadership teams to ensure HEOR initiatives are fully integrated into broader clinical, medical, and commercial strategies.
- Lead partnerships with payers, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) organizations, academic institutions, healthcare providers, and research consortia to strengthen evidence generation and market access.
- Deliver high-quality health economic, outcomes research, and real-world evidence that addresses the needs of patients, providers, payers, and policy stakeholders.
- Present scientific findings and value evidence to internal leadership, external experts, healthcare organizations, and industry conferences.
- Monitor healthcare policy, payer trends, competitive evidence landscapes, and emerging HEOR methodologies to inform strategic planning and identify new opportunities.
- Serve as a senior HEOR subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to the continued growth of organizational evidence-generation capabilities.
- Advanced degree such as MD, PhD, or PharmD in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, Public Health, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum 10–13 years of progressive experience in HEOR, Real-World Evidence, Market Access, or related functions within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Strong expertise in oncology HEOR and RWE strategy development, with experience supporting evidence generation for innovative therapies.
- Demonstrated success integrating HEOR considerations into clinical development programs and influencing payer and HTA strategies.
- Proven record of leading cross-functional evidence generation initiatives and managing complex stakeholder relationships across global organizations.
- Experience with managed care, formulary decision-making, integrated delivery networks, reimbursement models, and healthcare policy environments.
- Strong publication history and experience communicating complex scientific and economic evidence to both technical and executive audiences.
- Experience in gastrointestinal oncology and global product launches is highly preferred, along with exceptional leadership, collaboration, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $232,000 to $290,000 USD, with location-based adjustments where applicable.
