The Role We are seeking a high-calibre, commercially sharp Business Manager to spearhead our high-growth Cybersecurity Incubator Portfolio. This is not a passive business management role. It is a dual-focus position combining strategic vendor governance with a hands-on "hunter" mandate to build a robust partner ecosystem across MSPs, MSSPs, and Systems Integrators. You will be personally accountable for the commercial performance, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and results maximisation of an agile portfolio of emerging, disruptive security technologies. Key Responsibilities GTM Planning & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive vendor go-to-market plans, including partner activation strategies, targeted marketing initiatives, and growth programs to aggressively capture market share. Pipeline Generation: Partner with internal Sales, Marketing, and Pre-Sales technical teams to design and execute partner-led pipeline generation activities aligned to vendor growth objectives. Vendor Governance: Lead end-to-end vendor governance activities, including running forward-looking Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), managing performance scorecards, and maintaining tight vendor operational interlocks. Data-Driven Management: Utilise CRM and reporting tools to track performance against KPIs, analyse market trends, identify portfolio gaps, and execute the internal mantra: “What? So what? Now what?” to optimise business outcomes. Partner Recruitment & Enablement: Drive a structured program of partner recruitment, technical enablement, and ongoing upskilling to turn new partners into highly active, revenue-generating engine rooms. Influence & Leadership: Give clear strategic direction to internal sales and marketing teams on how to position, cross-sell, and win with your designated portfolio lines. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in IT/Business is highly regarded (but not essential). Appropriate vendor product sales certifications, or the proven ability to achieve them rapidly during onboarding Proven Sales Quota Background: Demonstrated track record as a quota-carrying representative (BDM, Vendor BM, or Outbound Account Manager) within IT distribution or the broader technology channel. Channel Intelligence: Strong foundational understanding of the two-tier channel model, with pre-existing security reseller, MSP, or MSSP partner relationships in Australia & New Zealand (ANZ). Cybersecurity Acumen: A solid understanding of cybersecurity technology concepts and a strong business acumen to confidently discuss risk, alignment, and ROI with partners and vendors. Execution & Structure: High level of autonomy with the ability to devise execution processes, handle multi-vendor prioritisation, and deliver strong presentation and negotiation outcomes. Mobility: Willingness to travel 30% to 50% of the time across the region to run face-to-face partner enablement, QBRs, and industry events.
