About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
About the Role
As an Outbound BDR on the MuleSoft team, you will be the first point of contact for prospective enterprise customers. You will identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities by targeting technology and business leaders who can benefit from MuleSoft's integration and API-led connectivity platform. This is a hunter role — you'll own top-of-funnel pipeline generation through strategic outbound prospecting.
What You'll Do
Build and execute multi-channel outbound sequences (email, phone, LinkedIn, video) targeting mid-market and enterprise accounts
Research target accounts to understand their technology stack, integration pain points, and digital transformation initiatives
Engage technical and business stakeholders — including architects, IT directors, and VPs of Engineering — with relevant, credible outreach
Qualify prospects using a structured discovery framework (MEDDIC/BANT) and hand off sales-ready opportunities to Account Executives
Partner closely with AEs and Sales leaders to align outreach with campaigns, product launches, and industry events
Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in Salesforce CRM
Meet and exceed monthly quotas for qualified pipeline and meetings booked
What We're Looking For
3+ years of outbound sales or business development experience in a B2B technology environment
Prior experience selling or prospecting for a technically complex product — such as integration platforms, middleware, API management, iPaaS, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise software
Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business value for a non-technical audience
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft personalized, research-driven outreach
Comfortable engaging senior technical buyers (architects, developers, IT leadership)
Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft, or similar) Preferred
Familiarity with integration, API, or connectivity concepts (REST/SOAP, ETL, ESB, data pipelines)
Exposure to the Salesforce ecosystem or enterprise platforms like SAP, Workday, ServiceNow
Experience in a high-growth SaaS or PaaS environment
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
