Cohesity is seeking a Field CTO for Healthcare to serve as our senior technical and strategic leader within the healthcare vertical. This is a highly visible, externally-facing role that bridges deep industry expertise with Cohesity's data security and management platform. You will be the face of Cohesity's healthcare strategy — partnering with account teams to win business, engaging customers and prospects at the executive level, and shaping our product direction in one of the most data-intensive industries in the world.
What You'll Do
Thought Leadership & Customer Engagement
Serve as Cohesity's primary healthcare industry voice externally — speaking at conferences, authoring content, and engaging with healthcare executives, CIOs, CISOs, and CTOs as a credible peer and trusted advisor.
Partner with field sales and SE teams on strategic opportunities, participating in executive briefings, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements with healthcare customers and prospects.
Translate complex healthcare data challenges — including data protection, ransomware resilience, regulatory compliance, and AI-readiness — into compelling narratives that connect to Cohesity's platform capabilities.
Build and maintain relationships with key industry bodies, health systems, payers, and technology partners in the healthcare ecosystem
Product & Strategy
Act as the primary conduit between the healthcare field and Cohesity's Product Management organization, surfacing customer requirements, validating roadmap priorities, and advocating for capabilities critical to the vertical.
Develop and maintain Cohesity's healthcare-specific point of view — including use cases, reference architectures, and competitive positioning — in close collaboration with product, marketing, and engineering.
Inform go-to-market strategy for healthcare, including segmentation, solution packaging, and partnership priorities.
Field Enablement
Enable and upskill account teams on healthcare-specific selling motions, industry dynamics, regulatory requirements, and technical architectures.
Serve as an escalation resource for complex technical or strategic situations in key healthcare accounts.
What You'll Bring
15+ years of experience in enterprise technology, with a significant portion focused on the healthcare vertical.
Deep, hands-on familiarity with healthcare IT environments — including Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) systems (Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, etc.), PACS/VNA infrastructure, HL7/FHIR standards, and clinical workflows.
Strong understanding of the healthcare regulatory landscape, including HIPAA, HITECH, and emerging AI governance considerations.
Experience in a field-facing technical leadership role — Field CTO, Chief Medical Information Officer, VP of Healthcare Strategy, or equivalent — with a track record of influencing large enterprise decisions.
Ability to engage credibly across a wide spectrum of stakeholders, from clinical informaticists and IT architects to C-suite executives and board-level audiences.
Familiarity with data security, backup and recovery, and data management concepts as they apply to healthcare environments — direct experience with Cohesity or competitive platforms is a strong plus.
Strong executive presence, exceptional communication skills, and demonstrated ability to develop original thought leadership content.
Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites, industry events, and Cohesity offices.
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making.
Must have English language proficiency (Can interact with a degree of fluency when speaking, reading, and writing in a professional and specialized setting).
