About the Position: Serves in the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of the Army (DUSA) as the Deputy Chief of the DUSA Initiatives Group (DIG). The DUSA executes Army-wide programs and strategic initiatives that cut across the entirety of the Army Staff, Army Commands (ACOMs), Army Service Component Commands (ASCCs), and Direct Reporting Units (DRUs) on behalf of the Secretary of the Army (SECARMY). Exercises broad authority and independent judgment to plan, direct, and oversee the execution of DUSA priority initiatives and analytical efforts that span multiple Army organizations, functional domains, and programmatic boundaries. Evaluate the progress, risk, and strategic relevance of initiatives and analytical studies; independently determine when to adjust scope, redirect resources, realign priorities, or terminate efforts that no longer support leadership objectives. Plan, lead, and execute complex operations research analysis addressing Army-wide programs, policies, and institutional challenges that cut across traditional staff lanes and require integration of multidisciplinary approaches and perspectives.
