Senior Mammography Technologist

This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting, either fixed or mobile.  Responsible for producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner.  Responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA either as designated Quality Control technologist as under their direction.

Required Qualifications:  

  • Formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist 
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists 
  • National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire 

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • 2 years Full-time mammography.
