THE JOB:
As a Busperson for Public House at Luxor, you will play an essential role in fueling the lively, spirited atmosphere of our energetic, stadium-style pub located within the iconic pyramid. Going beyond simply maintaining the pristine cleanliness of our dining areas, storerooms, and beverage stations, you will serve as the crucial backbone of our fast-paced service team. By working in seamless harmony with food servers and runners to ensure swift table turnarounds, fully stocked stations, and flawlessly organized food pickup areas, you will empower the entire staff to deliver an uninterrupted, spectacular dining and game-day experience that perfectly captures the premier hospitality of our dynamic resort.
THE STARTING RATE: $14.6196 Hourly + Tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Work with servers to ensure proper guest service
Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas
Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed
Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles
Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently
Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
Must be 21 years of age or older
1+ Years of prior relevant experience as a Busperson or Food Runner in a Fast Paced or High-Volume restaurant preferred
