This role is in the Platform Strategy Supervisory Department (PFSD), a corporate organization reporting directly to the COO/Vice President. You will be responsible for planning and operating ecosystem marketing initiatives while also evolving the underlying marketing processes through AI.
PFSD drives group-wide ecosystem growth strategy and cross-Rakuten marketing initiatives, rather than operating a specific service.
* Corporate Organization: a cross-functional body encompassing Corporate Planning, CEO Office, HR, General Affairs, Finance, Legal, and other central functions.

・Plan, operate, and improve ecosystem marketing initiatives and products
・Design and implement marketing process workflows using LLMs and AI tools

Work Environment
Platform Strategy Supervisory Department has approximately 70 members, with a roughly equal gender balance and average age in early 30s.
More than half of the team has joined mid-career, and mid-career hires make up the majority of the department.

The department has a track record of hiring from strategy consulting, IT, platform businesses, startups, telecom, and content operations.
The Product Management Section consists of 6 full-time employees and 10+ partner-track members.

Mandatory Qualifications:
・3+ years of marketing experience at a business/operating company
・Experience driving projects with multiple stakeholders
・Experience planning and executing BPR or business process improvement initiatives
・Hands-on experience automating or improving work processes using technology (SQL, Python, VBA, or equivalent)
Desired Qualifications:
・Product manager or director experience on large-scale websites or apps
・Experience applying AI/LLMs in a business context (workflow improvement, automation, or prompt engineering using Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.)
・People management experience
