Accountabilities
- Lead, mentor, and scale a distributed team of Product Designers and UX Researchers, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and psychological safety.
- Define and evolve the product design vision across complex, data-heavy B2B SaaS workflows, ensuring intuitive and scalable user experiences.
- Drive the adoption of AI-augmented design practices, including AI-assisted prototyping, research synthesis, and automated UI generation.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to design agentic and AI-driven user experiences that simplify global compliance, payroll, and HR workflows.
- Oversee the evolution of design systems, ensuring scalability, consistency, and integration of intelligent and automated design components.
- Establish strong cross-functional alignment with Product, Engineering, Data, and GTM teams to ensure design strategy supports business objectives.
- Define and promote responsible AI design principles, ensuring transparency, trust, and usability in high-stakes user environments.
- Elevate team capabilities through coaching, structured feedback, and clear career development frameworks.
- 8+ years of experience in Product Design or UX Design, with a strong portfolio in complex B2B SaaS or fintech environments.
- 4+ years of experience in people management, ideally leading distributed, multi-timezone design teams.
- Strong understanding of systems thinking and designing for complex, non-linear user journeys and workflows.
- Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with AI tools and GenAI workflows applied to product and design processes.
- Experience working in or designing for compliance-heavy or regulated industries such as Fintech, HRTech, or LegalTech is a plus.
- Strong ability to translate complex data and workflows into intuitive, user-centered design solutions.
- Experience with service design and cross-functional journey mapping is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders across technical and business teams.
- Fluent English and ability to work effectively in a fully distributed, asynchronous environment.
