Position Summary
The Implementation Consulting Specialist role is part of a team based in India working with clients globally on implementation activities, generally in an offsite capacity; however, at times team members are required to travel to client sites to assist with onsite implementation activities.
The team is coached and led by a senior Managing Consultants and Lead Consultants, and are trained in using SQL Server, the EDM application, and in the informational needs of modern financial institutions.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform EDM configuration activities, including building interfaces, configuration functionality, validating rules etc to meet the client specifications.
- Review and analyse client requirements and overlay into OPUS EDM solutions with best practices.
- Testing the project deliverables ensuring they are in line with documented requirements.
- Participate in testing processes throughout project lifecycle.
- Support the release management process and cutover into Production.
- Interacting with clients and colleagues to ensure accurate and timely information flows.
- Investigates and documents existing procedures.
- Ability to self-manage workload and prioritise multiple tasks allocated.
- Build excellent working relationships with all stakeholders, including end users and internal teams.
- BS in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Finance with 7-8 years’ development experience.
- Must have at least 5-6 years' of EDM implementation / Support experience.
- Strong Understanding of the EDM Product functionality including
- Solution Design for overall EDM solution and workflows
- Building and configuring Integration Components
- Building and configuring Master and Matcher Components
- Performance Configuration
- Analysis of orchestration design and scheduling solutions
- EDM Best Practice and Design Patterns
- Strong proficiency with SQL statements, designing tables, stored procedures, views and functions. Preference in SQL Server.
- Performance Tuning - SQL Optimization, Solution Optimization.
- Overall knowledge of infrastructure components supporting product deployment.
- Basic Understanding of Financial Instruments like Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives.
- Good Data Model knowledge and experience of working within financial database implementations.
- Knowledge of financial markets products, a broad understanding of the investment bank process, middle-office systems and operations, and associated data management needs is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
