About the Role/Team:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Data Architecture to help lead the design, configuration, activation, and support of Oracle Health EHR (Millennium) data migration solutions for Veterans Affairs customers. The Federal Consulting team is a group of hard-working, knowledgeable, passionate members who want to shape electronic health record systems for our Nation's Veterans and the care teams who support them.

As a Senior Manager, Data Architecture, you will manage a team of Technical Architects and Engineers responsible for planning, designing, building, validating, and executing data migrations. You will consult with clients and provide program oversight, technical direction, operational leadership, and delivery accountability to stakeholders. You will drive client-specific data migration strategy and solution design to meet workflow, technical, security, and program requirements. You will mitigate solution risks and issues, lead client and internal meetings, and execute workflow and process improvement strategies that advance how healthcare is provided with the migration of data that supports clinicians, empowers patient care teams, and fosters continuity of care.

This position will interact with all levels of the organization and have responsibility for coordinating cross-functionally to ensure project success. You will be responsible for providing and ensuring quality work on customer engagements while coaching and developing a team of technical leaders and engineers. Key skills and abilities include people leadership, coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. As a member of the Technology Consulting organization, you are responsible for ensuring that quality projects are delivered in a timely manner, on budget, and to our customers' satisfaction. Ability to travel as necessary.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Technical Architects and Engineers responsible for designing, building, validating, and executing data migration solutions for Veterans Affairs customers.

  • Provide oversight to project teams designing and implementing data migration solutions that meet business, technical, security, and client requirements.

  • Provide effective situational leadership for escalations, operational issues, delivery risks, and cross-functional dependencies.

  • Successfully oversee data migration activities across consulting services projects, including planning, extraction, transformation, validation, cutover support, and post-live stabilization.

  • Drive alignment across engagement leaders, project managers, client stakeholders, technical architects, engineers, and internal Oracle Health teams to support delivery planning, staffing, risk management, and successful outcomes.

  • Liaise with, build relationships with, and support collaboration across teams within Oracle Health and Federal Consulting.

  • Lead cross-functional program management initiatives, coordinating across multiple teams to drive alignment, execution, and successful outcomes.

  • Coach, develop, and support team members through performance feedback, goal setting, development planning, and delivery guidance.

 

Education & Experience:

  • 4-6 years of overall experience in leading delivery teams, consulting, data migration, data architecture, or similar role.

  • 2 years' experience in multi-dimensional issue resolution.

  • A BS or BA in related fields.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Self-starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects.

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.

  • Strong presentation skills required.

  • Must embrace change and have a proven track record of successful process redesign.

  • Ability to function as part of a team and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing Technical Architects, Engineers, or senior technical consultants responsible for data migration delivery.

  • Experience with Oracle Health EHR (Millennium), Federal healthcare delivery, Veterans Affairs programs, or large-scale healthcare data migration initiatives.

  • Experience with workflow documentation.

  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to clients, leaders, and stakeholders.

  • Healthcare knowledge is strongly preferred.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $112,000 to $264,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
