How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Manage and maintain the Trauma Registry to ensure accurate, complete data that supports high-quality trauma care and program performance.
- Review and abstract trauma patient records carefully to capture essential clinical details that drive reporting, benchmarking, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze trauma data to identify trends and opportunities for quality improvement and support compliance with national trauma standards.
- Generate and present quality assurance reports that help leadership monitor outcomes, strengthen processes, and maintain trauma program readiness.
- Collaborate with trauma program leaders and clinical teams to address data discrepancies and support ongoing performance improvement initiatives.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Registrar specializing in Trauma Registry obtained within 36 Months (3 years) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in trauma registry abstraction, coding, clinical documentation review, or trauma program data management.
- ICD10 coding experience or certification.
