Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted HR point of contact for employees and managers across Italy, Spain, and Portugal, while maintaining flexibility to support broader EMEA countries.
- Deliver a wide range of HR services in a customer-focused, responsive, and professional manner.
- Manage end-to-end HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employment contracts, benefits administration, payroll-related processes, and offboarding activities.
- Maintain, update, and audit employee data within the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Support HR operations by preparing and maintaining required documentation, reports, records, and employee correspondence.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of Italian employment legislation and statutory requirements, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and HR processes.
- Ensure adherence to local legal requirements and relevant international regulations across supported countries.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, recommend enhancements, and support system optimization initiatives that enable business growth and scalability.
- Coordinate and monitor immigration-related processes, ensuring compliance and timely completion of required documentation.
- Manage benefits enrollment activities and administration.
- Provide ad hoc operational and administrative support to the wider EMEA HR team as required.
- Contribute to regional and global HR projects, supporting the successful implementation of strategic HR initiatives and process improvements.
Skills
- Fluent English and Italian (Spanish would be nice to have)
- Excellent writing skills and verbal communication. Building trusting relationships with employees, managers and other stakeholders, including, facilitating effective communication across departments and other teams.
- 5-10 years’ experience providing HR support in an international organization
- Strong analysis/problem solving skills and a proven ability to pay close attention to detail
- Strong and agile team player
- Solid experience with HRIS information systems; excellent computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Adaptability and multitasking. Thriving in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tasks.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, such as, onboarding, offboarding, operational tasks and employee engagement.
- Project management skills, with the ability to implement initiatives and meet tight deadlines.
