Key Responsibilities:
Develop architectural and engineering designs for commercial, residential, or industrial projects
Create detailed construction drawings and specifications using advanced CAD/BIM software
Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to ensure integrated design solutions
Perform building system analyses and calculations
Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards
Develop sustainable design solutions incorporating energy efficiency and environmental considerations
Review contractor submittals and RFIs (Requests for Information)
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design compliance
Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and objectives
Prepare and present design proposals and technical documentation
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field
7+ years of experience in architectural design and engineering
Professional registration (PE, RA, or both) preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
Strong understanding of building systems and construction methods
Knowledge of building codes and industry standards
Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED principles
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong project management abilities
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Architecture or Engineering
LEED AP certification
Experience with parametric design software
Knowledge of construction cost estimation
Familiarity with energy modeling software
Experience in specific building types (healthcare, education, etc.)
Technical Skills:
Proficient in BIM software (Revit, ArchiCAD)
3D modeling and visualization tools (SketchUp, 3ds Max)
Energy analysis software
Microsoft Office Suite
Project management software
