Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Console in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report observations through required documentation and/or communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry when required, and assist with visitor, vendor, and/or contractor interactions in alignment with property guidelines.
- Support daily property operations by observing for fire alarms, unlocked doors, lighting issues, and/or other conditions that may require follow-up from building management or emergency services.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
