The Role:

The Technical Payments Expert is a proven problem-solver who seizes opportunities to learn more about the business. This individual delivers world-class support to internal teams, addressing their technical inquiries. The Technical Payments Expert is expanding the role of technical engineer, capitalizing on opportunities to enhance both personal and team performance. The Expert plays a pivotal role in collaborating with various production teams and resources, including OCC, IPM, DevOps, Networking, DBA, etc., to identify and address the root cause of events. The person in this role will actively participate in the formulation of action plans for subsequent steps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional production teams to investigate and resolve incidents promptly.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to identify the root cause of events affecting operational processes.
  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of action plans for incident resolution and prevention.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in documentation, guides, operational processes, and agent knowledge/behavior.
  • Identify and implement internal interfaces to help support teams access information more quickly.
  • Work closely with teams such as OCC, IPM, DevOps, Networking, and DBA to ensure seamless operations and optimal system performance.
  • Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to payment processing.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience in a technical oriented role in an International Company
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end service architectures
  • Experience troubleshooting API integrations, REST services, web applications, and payment processing workflows.
  • Familiarity with JSON, XML, SQL, and database-driven applications.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with OCC, IPM, DevOps, Networking, and DBA teams.
  • 5-8 years of experience in the Payments/FinTech industry is considered as an advantage
  • Experience working with Sales, Relationship and Account Management teams
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement in operational processes.

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is EUR 26,832 - EUR 37,920 (gross). This range represents the expected starting salary for candidates hired into this role in the specified location. If the position is filled in a different location, a different salary range may apply due to objective factors such as local labor market conditions and cost of living.

This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Nuvei and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
