No longer listedThe EHS & Facility Supervisor is responsible for ensuring EHS compliance, DHR/SCIEX EHS Policy Deployment, related EHS program implementation, and managing site level facility work (e.g. installation, repairing, preventive maintenance, etc.).
- Lead site-level EHS compliance management, maintaining a comprehensive compliance calendar and ensuring timely execution of all applicable regulatory requirements, follow-up actions from internal audits, external audits, and government inspections.
- Drive implementation and continuous improvement of EHS Standard Work and procedures by EHS-DBS(Danaher Business System) integration approaches, complying with corporate / SCIEX standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Manage EHS documentation system, including environmental monitoring, industrial hygiene assessments, and occupational health surveillance records, etc. ensuring accuracy, traceability, and audit readiness.
- Oversee daily EHS performance management, including KPI tracking, recordable incident management, and trend analysis to support proactive risk mitigation.
- Standardize training and compliance requirements, improving visibility and consistency in EHS capability building
- Support and coordinate cross-functional EHS activities for the site, including internal audits, safety observations, EHS meetings, and kaizen events, emergency response, business crisis management with full documentation and follow-up tracking
- effectively and consistently manage the delivery of facilities services onsite through either the direct or indirect management of in-house resources or third party service providers and their designated supply chain partners ensuring the maintenance of the highest standards and a focus on customer service.
- Act as a central focus for all facilities related matters(e.g. repairing, maintenance, project execution support) for all other key local contacts to ensure that services are delivered in line with business requirements regardless of size or complexity of the location.
- Fulfill strategic development through the appointment and utilization of service partners. Lead the commercial analysis and negotiation of competitive tenders with Supply Chain Management team and see opportunities for challenging existing protocols and evaluating standards against commercial objectives. Implement and manage new business models and ensure acceptance and buy-in by pre-identifying potential obstacles and providing solutions.
- Support DHR Corporate Real Estate to meet Real Estate property strategies. As required by Corporate Real Estate co-ordinate all property related activities utilizing external partners and resources to realize objectives and goals.
- Other affected duties / urgent tasks as assigned.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Degree in engineering, chemistry, environment related disciplines.
- At least 3-5 years of experience working in manufacturing industries as an EHS/Facility professionals with solid EHS permit management expertise
- Highly motivated and partnering/ team mentality
- Strong cross-function collaboration capability by team work
- Fluent communication skills in Chinese and English
- Proven experience in specification and negotiation of facilities-related outsourced service contracts and the effective management of vendor relationships across all disciplines
- Experience of coordinating multi-disciplined projects to delivery
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Ability to travel to North America/Singapore for 2-4 weeks/year during project.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- ISO14001/45001 management experience
- EHS/facility project execution
- LEED Gold Certification for facilities
Basic English Speaking to enable the 1 over 1 communication and/or collaboration with cross-region teams.
