The "Material Planner" position reports to the " Material Planning Supervisor " of Aptiv Morocco subsidiary of Aptiv, a global company operating in the automotive industry.
Ensure the availability of the RM at the right time while ensuring the required quality.

Internal:
- Relationship with Shop floor (reception, food,...) of the logistics department;
- Relationship with the planners of the logistics department to provide them with the necessary information;
- Relationship with Quality Engineers for tool validation;
- Relationship with the product managers of the Engineering department for the nomenclature of all components;
- Relationship with the transport managers for the follow-up of the goods.
External:
- Relationship with suppliers
The Material Planner is responsible for the following functions:
- Monitor any anomalies from the supplier;
- Analyze MP and component requirements;
- Send the supplier the procurement programs while indicating the references, quantities and my week of receipt;
- Analyze WIP stock (overstock, stock shortage and negative stock) weekly;
- Detect and track anomalies (cutting, production, engineering) causing stock shortages;
- Ensure compliance with procedures, health and safety;
- Transfer anomaly cases to Key Users via ID Tool ;
- Clear orders weekly to avoid overstocking;
- Check the receipt of the goods in the store;
- Manage obsolete references that correspond to deviations or sales to other Aptiv factories;
- Evaluate the quality of the supplier's service via servers;
- Ensure the update of the monitoring table & QVC Wall ;
- Ensure the follow-up and management of critical components;
- Monitor the transport of goods (Pickup & arrival);
- Ensure proper flow management via MRP and SAP;
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health and safety standards.
- Decide on stock shortage points in case of component changes;
- Decide on the type of transport to be used in case of emergency in agreement with the line manager.
- Propose the use of alternative equipment if the original equipment is missing;
- Make any proposals for improving service and working conditions.
