Job Description
The Master Production Scheduler maximizes customer service and inventory efficiency in our global distribution centers, by translating the company S&OP into a workable master production schedule for Rockwell Automation's factories.
The master production schedule is leading for the requirement- and capacity planning on purchased/manufactured components and the workforce in the plant. Establishing the master schedule will involve working closely with various stakeholders. These stakeholders include Production Control Analysts, Production and Inventory Managers, Demand Managers, and Materials Analysts. The goal of this collaboration is to coordinate manufacturing plans that achieve company objectives. These objectives relate to customer service, resource/capacity utilization, and inventory investment. Its functionality offers a unique opportunity to plan and control the full supply chain network of the master production scheduler's assigned area, and implement improvement projects through the entire supply chain network.
You will report to the Master Production Scheduler Manager EMEA and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to balance customer demand, production capacity, and finished goods inventory targets.
- Ensure inventory levels within distribution centers to support customer service goals while minimizing excess inventory.
- Managing short- and long-term production capacity plans to meet customer demand and business goals.
- Collaborating with Production Control Analysts, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and Product Management teams to balance supply and demand and ensure customer delivery commitments are met.
- Monitoring and driving performance against service and inventory KPIs, ensuring achievement of customer delivery and inventory objectives.
- Support new product introductions and product phase-out activities to ensure material availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Provide scenario analysis and recommendations to support operational and business decision-making.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance planning efficiency, inventory performance, and customer service results.
- Collaborate across global teams to implement best practices and improve supply chain performance.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in materials planning, analyzing data related to product forecasting, master scheduling, asset management, or shipment forecasting.
- Analytical, lean and project management skills.
- Solid knowledge of supply chain, materials planning, and logistics.
- Proficient software and PC skills, with a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Global business proficiency and understanding.
- Public speaking and facilitation skills.
- Experience with SAP.
- Fluent in English.

- Proven track record of driving process improvements.
- APICS – CPIM certification.
- Communicative Italian.
- Change management skills.
- Data visualization and reporting skills using Power BI.
