As an IVD Coordinator, you will be the key point of contact between our guests and the culinary team, orchestrating every aspect of the in-villa dining experience with precision, warmth, and attention to detail. Operating in a remote luxury island environment, you will ensure that every meal delivered to our guests reflects the highest standards of the Waldorf Astoria brand. You will work closely with the kitchen, Personal Concierge, and food and beverage teams to guarantee that each dining experience is personalised, timely, and truly memorable.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
Coordinate and manage all in-villa dining orders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and presentation standards are consistently met
Serve as the primary liaison between guests, personal concierge, and the culinary team for all IVD requests
Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menus, dietary requirements, allergens, and guest preferences
Anticipate guest needs and personalise dining experiences in line with individual preferences and special occasions
Ensure all IVD setups are prepared and presented to the highest luxury standards before delivery
Monitor and manage IVD order flow during service periods to avoid delays and ensure smooth operations
Communicate any special requests, dietary restrictions, or feedback promptly and accurately to the kitchen team
Maintain accurate records of guest dining preferences and update profiles accordingly
Handle guest concerns or complaints related to in-villa dining with professionalism and a solution-focused approach
Collaborate with the Food & Beverage and Culinary teams to continuously improve the IVD offering
Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
Support the team during peak periods and special events as required
