As an American Express Platinum Travel and Lifestyle Consultant, you will be ready to take on any travel-related requests at any time. Here are some of the things you might deal with on a daily basis:
- Create unique experiences with professional international and domestic travel booking services, especially in high-end luxury areas, including flights, restaurants, car rentals, excursions, trains, and even cruises and private jets.
- Provide professional advice and arrange business or leisure trips from start to finish.
- Meet the requirements of life and provide advice on dining, limousine transfers, tickets for entertainment and sporting events, spa and fitness, flowers, merchandise and gifts.
- Proactively provide cardholders with useful information and analyze the strengths and weaknesses of various alternatives to assist them in making decisions when needed.
- Use your in-depth knowledge to help cardmembers enjoy their exclusive benefits, including how to make the most of their membership bonus points.
- You'll always put the cardmember experience first, reinforcing a members-first mindset and earning loyalty.
- Optimize service delivery and meet compliance requirements through phone and customer management systems. Establish and maintain customer profiles.
- If you don’t have a college or university degree, you are still very welcome to apply as long as you have good experience working in the travel profession for at least 2-3 years
- Sales experience and consulting skills to confidently recommend and cross-sell relevant products and services. Good understanding of travel, life and world geography.
- Computer power is essential, and you use many different tools and systems every day.
- The gift of building long-term customer relationships. Your industry needs the maturity and independence to communicate effectively and respond to demanding requirements.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to identify and meet customer needs when time is of the essence.
- Stay resilient and calm in a stressful and ever-changing environment. The ability to respond to the changing demands of work is critical.
- Flexibility in shift work, including night and weekend shifts. Business hours are Monday to Sunday from 17:00 to 08:00.
- Knowledge of air fares and travel technology company Sabre is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be proficient in Chinese and English.
