- Conduct first-article inspections of raw materials using engineering drawings, procurement specifications, and other technical documentation.
- Perform incoming inspections of raw materials and supplier-provided components in accordance with established quality procedures.
- Conduct in-process inspections of work-in-progress products to verify compliance with quality requirements.
- Perform final inspections of finished goods prior to shipment.
- Execute sampling inspections based on approved procedures and work instructions.
- Verify product dimensions, identify visual defects, and assess compliance against drawings, specifications, procedures, checklists, and customer requirements.
- Document inspection results accurately and support the resolution of quality-related issues.
- Collaborate with Quality Technicians, Quality Engineers, and Quality Supervisors to obtain disposition decisions for nonconforming materials.
- Assist with defect investigations, root cause analysis activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare, maintain, and manage certificates of conformity and product testing documentation.
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of standard inspection tools such as calipers, gauges, and other measurement equipment.
- Ability to perform inspections accurately and consistently in a manufacturing environment.
- English reading and writing skills sufficient to understand specifications, procedures, and quality documentation.
- Basic proficiency with office productivity software and electronic record-keeping systems.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Technical secondary school education, vocational training, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience supporting quality inspection, manufacturing, or production-related activities.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience performing incoming, in-process, first-article, or final inspections within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures, inspection sampling methods, and product documentation requirements.
- Experience supporting corrective actions, defect analysis, or continuous improvement projects.
- Understanding of quality management principles and manufacturing best practices.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to solve quality-related challenges.
- Experience handling certificates of conformity, test reports, or other quality records.
