Aviation Supervisor, Janitorial Services
Pay: $19.00/hour.
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

- Supervise and direct janitorial employees in the cleaning and maintenance of airport terminals, concourses, restrooms, offices, break rooms, and public spaces.
- Assign daily work schedules and monitor productivity to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards and customer expectations are consistently met.
- Train, coach, and develop team members on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, airport regulations, and company safety standards.
- Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and employee concerns.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and consumables; coordinate ordering as needed.
- Address employee attendance, performance, and disciplinary matters in partnership with management and Human Resources.
- Communicate operational updates and facility issues to management and airport stakeholders.
- Support staffing efforts, including interviewing, onboarding, and scheduling employees.
- Respond to customer requests and resolve service-related concerns professionally and promptly.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in janitorial, facilities management, housekeeping, or environmental services.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience managing large workforces and multiple work areas preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required airport security credentials.
