About the Role
We’re looking for a Program Manager to join our Business Development team, reporting directly to the Director of Business Development. This role owns the full lifecycle of complex customer programs from NPI through production and delivery spanning PCBA, secondary assembly, box builds, functional test, and programming.
You’ll serve as the primary bridge between the customer and MacroFab’s internal teams Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production as well as our Partner Factories, keeping all parties aligned, programs on schedule, and customers informed every step of the way. This means daily customer engagement, proactive risk management, and jumping in to collaborate on solutions when issues arise internally or at the factory level.
The Business Development team manages a portfolio of high-touch, high-complexity accounts where program execution is directly tied to customer retention and account growth. The PM in this role is central to that outcome.
What You’ll Do
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned customer programs, from NPI through production and delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on all program-related matters schedule, status, escalations, and changes.
• Communicate with customers daily or as needed, providing accurate and timely program updates with a professional, solutions-oriented approach.
• Coordinate across Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production to align on priorities, resolve blockers, and keep jobs moving.
• Engage with Partner Factories on production status updates and participate in collaborative problem-solving when issues require a coordinated response.
• Manage programs that span complex scopes including secondary assembly, box builds, functional test, and programming and understand the operational nuances each adds to a program.
• Monitor program schedules and proactively flag risks before they become delays.
• Maintain accurate program and account data within Salesforce logging activities, managing account records, tracking open items, and running reports to support program visibility across the team.
• Support handoffs between NPI and production, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
What You Bring
• Program management experience with a track record of owning complex, multi-stakeholder programs from start to finish.
• Prior experience in a role closely aligned to this one: end-to-end program ownership, primary customer point of contact, and cross-functional accountability.
• A strong work ethic and genuine sense of ownership. You follow through and hold yourself to a high standard.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent programs across different lifecycle stages without losing detail or missing commitments.
• Calm and decisive under pressure, with experience managing escalations and communicating confidently through problems.
• Comfortable influencing and coordinating across teams you do not directly manage.
• PCB and PCBA knowledge is strongly preferred. A background in electronics or contract manufacturing is a significant advantage, though strong PM experience in a complex manufacturing environment will be considered.
• Familiarity with NPI processes and production handoffs is a plus.
• Proficient in Salesforce, including activity logging, account management, and reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems in a manufacturing context is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary for this role is $90,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
