Patient Authorization and Referral Representative - Cardiology

Referral Specialist initiates a variety of external and internal referral processing and skilled clerical duties in support of the PMG physician offices. Communicate with internal and external medical offices and insurance companies to ensure provider referral requests are processed timely and accurately. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of Providence Health & Services.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• 2 years of Hospital or medical business office experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Word processing and spreadsheet computer applications.
• Experience with Insurance Verification of benefits
