The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an outstanding opportunity for a Dreamlifter Operations Scheduler to support the Dreamlifter Large Cargo Freighter (LCF) in North Charleston, SC. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented teammate to assist in planning, coordinating, and managing aircraft schedules to optimize fleet utilization and support program requirements.
Primary responsibilities for this position include scheduling the Dreamlifter Operations Transportation System of four 747-400 Large Cargo Freighters (LCFs) transporting 787 & 767 major production articles, LCF-specific Shipping Mechanical Equipment (SMEs) and other emergent cargo in support of Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
Position Responsibilities:
Work with 787 & 767 Program Master Schedule and other scheduling agencies to ensure production articles are delivered on time and in the most efficient manner.
Ensure the integration of LCF processes and procedures with Final Assembly, Midbody, Partners, Suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Update and communicate LCF Flight Schedule including production articles, Shipping Mechanical Equipment (SME), and Mechanical Equipment (ME).
Coordinate partner deviation requests with the LCF operator (Atlas Air) and receiving organizations to ensure on-time deliveries.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure schedule accuracy and operational feasibility.
Send email notification to partners, LCF users, and transportation stakeholders regarding LCF schedule updates and identifying and mitigating risk by using all available tools such as ATC, TFRs, Weather, NOTAMs, and other aviation-related data to avoid potential threats to the LCF flight schedule.
Complete Customs paperwork required for Shipping Mechanical Equipment (SME) and Mechanical Equipment (ME) returns.
Work with program master schedule teams to understand rate and master schedule impacts on the business.
Identify schedule constraints, determine capacity and develop alternative mitigation plans.
Monitor daily operational performance metrics (i.e., on-time performance, block hours, cancellations, delays).
Maintain and improve business processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Local Work Instructions (LWIs).
Operate the Dreamlifter Operations On-call Hotline as needed including after-hours, weekend and holiday support.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma principles), including data collection and analysis.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience in airline operations, airport/ground operations, airline planning, or business operations role supporting transportation or logistics.
Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Power Point, Word)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to travel up to 20% of work time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Familiarity with airline scheduling software or systems.

Position Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement and supply‑chain strategies for engine programs.
Manage supplier technical performance, qualifications, and non‑conformance resolution.
Partner closely with Program teams and the engine company to align priorities, resolve technical and schedule issues, and support production/readiness activities.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Logistics to ensure production readiness and resolve supplier‑related technical issues.
Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks (capacity, single source, obsolescence); maintain forecasts and supplier scorecards.
Mentor junior staff and lead cost‑reduction and process‑improvement initiatives that deliver measurable impact.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in a supply chain, procurement or related field
3+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
3+ years of experience functioning in a cross-functional environment
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Masters Degree
Experience with the Production Readiness Assessment (PRA) process
Experience in contract negotiations and/or pricing
Experience applying critical thinking to understand inter-relationships of business decisions
Experience with Project Management

Summary Pay Range: $79,900 - $108,100
