Accountabilities:
- Assess AI readiness and maturity across departments and identify opportunities where AI can improve workflows and business outcomes.
- Design and deliver AI training sessions, workshops, and resources tailored to different teams and experience levels.
- Translate AI concepts into practical business applications and help teams understand the value of emerging technologies.
- Partner with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and develop high-impact AI use cases.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of AI opportunities, including business cases, expected outcomes, and implementation plans.
- Create and deploy AI-powered solutions such as workflow automations, internal tools, chatbots, prompts, templates, and integrations.
- Manage the full lifecycle of AI initiatives, from ideation and development to rollout, measurement, and continuous improvement.
- Establish AI governance practices, including guidelines for approved tools, responsible usage, data handling, and compliance.
- Monitor AI trends and recommend new technologies, approaches, and best practices.
- Support change management by developing AI advocates, encouraging adoption, and addressing barriers through education and demonstrated value.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership on adoption progress, opportunities, challenges, and impact metrics.
- Experience in technology, research and development, product development, or a related technical field, with an interest in business enablement.
- Strong understanding of AI tools, concepts, and real-world business applications.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI solutions, including automation workflows, AI integrations, chatbots, prompt engineering, low-code/no-code platforms, or scripting.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Ability to operate independently, manage priorities, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Experience within the software or utility industry is an asset.
- Experience with organizational change management or business transformation is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with AI platforms and tools such as Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI APIs, Claude Code, Claude Co-Work, Codex, or similar technologies is a plus.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive mindset toward experimenting with emerging technologies.
- Competitive salary range of approximately $79,000–$90,000.
