Job Overview
Provide 24×7 support for IQVIA’s enterprise network environment, encompassing complex WAN/LAN and in-house voice infrastructure. Responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network equipment such as Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco SDWAN, routers, switches, wireless access points (WAPs), wireless LAN controllers (WLCs), Nexus switches, Cisco ACI, Cisco Voice (CUCM), Cisco ISE and F5 load balancers.
Job Description:
Strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies.
Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN and wireless solutions.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools (DNAC, vManage, SolarWinds, NetFlow).
Basic understanding of F5 load balancing and Cisco Voice.
Intermediate knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls.
Strong foundation in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
Experience working in an ITIL-governed environment, including change management processes.
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ticketing tools.
Key Responsibilities
Able to work with minimal or no Supervision post successful knowledge transfer.
Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routing, and switching environments.
Implement and troubleshoot Cisco SD-WAN solutions, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity across sites.
Deploy and support Cisco Wireless solutions, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Perform advanced troubleshooting for escalated network issues for faster resolution.
Monitor and optimize network performance using enterprise tools such as Cisco DNA Center, vManage, NetFlow, and SolarWinds.
Assist in new site builds and network expansions, including hardware installation, configuration, and testing.
Configure and maintain F5 load balancers for basic add-on tasks and troubleshooting.
Manage and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls at an intermediate level, ensuring compliance with security policies.
Provide basic support for Cisco Voice systems, including call manager and VoIP troubleshooting.
Maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and change logs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for network-related projects and incident resolution.
Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
