The Senior Manager EHS  is responsible for leading the Environment, Health and Safety strategy for Radiometer’s Brønshøj Manufacturing and Headquarters campus, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standards while driving a strong safety culture and continuous improvement. The role partners with Operations, R&D, Engineering, Facilities, Supply Chain and corporate functions to reduce risk, improve environmental performance, strengthen emergency preparedness, and support business growth through safe and sustainable operations.

This position reports to the Site Lead Manufacturing and is part of the Manufacturing Site Leadership Team located in Brønshøj, Denmark and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the EHS function for a combined manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, engineering and headquarters site.
  • Develop and deploy site EHS strategy, objectives and improvement plans aligned with Radiometer and Danaher standards.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, occupational health and safety regulations, permits, audits and corporate requirements.
  • Partner with site leadership to identify, assess and mitigate operational, environmental and workplace risks.
  • Lead incident investigations, corrective actions and Serious Injury & Fatality (SIF) prevention initiatives.
  • Drive ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and continuous improvement activities.
  • Develop EHS team capabilities and strengthen a proactive safety culture through training, engagement and leadership coaching

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Master degree in related technical discipline.
  • Min. of five years of EHS leadership experience within a regulated manufacturing environment incl. stakeholder management.
  • Extensive experience leading environmental compliance and occupational health & safety programs in manufacturing environments, including governance, auditing, and continuous improvement of EHS management systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Experience leading audits, regulatory inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Proven ability to drive cultural change and continuous improvement within large, complex organizations.
  • Being able to communicate fluently in Danish is a requirement 

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10–15%.
  • Ability to access manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse and construction environments.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and conduct site inspections.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience within medical device, diagnostics, life sciences or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience with Danaher Business System (DBS) or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies.
