Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator / Packager to join our production team. In this role, you will set up and operate production equipment, inspect products for quality, package finished goods, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate production machines at the start of each shift and as needed.
- Safely change cutting blades and ensure equipment is operating properly.
- Monitor machine performance and perform basic preventative maintenance.
- Package finished products and perform visual quality inspections.
- Ensure products meet company standards and customer specifications.
- Follow all Food Safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), SQF, and workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate production updates and equipment issues to supervisors.
- Support food safety initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to safely operate production equipment and follow established procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Flexibility to work varying days or hours as production needs require.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and comply with all safety and food manufacturing standards.
