As a Principal Technical Program Manager at JPMorganChase within Consumer & Community Bank Technology team, you will lead complex, multi-functional technology projects and programs that will impact experiences for multiple groups across the firm, including clients, employees, and stakeholders.  Job responsibilities  

  • Develop and implement strategic technical program plans, aligning with organizational goals and cross-functional collaboration  
  • Oversee complex technology project and program execution, managing resources, budgets, and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocks  
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams, providing direction and defining decision-making procedures for beneficial outcomes  
  • Guide the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies, platforms and software tools leveraging advanced technical fluency  
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies  
  • Lead through ambiguity by setting direction, removing impediments, escalating effectively, and balancing speed with risk, controls, and resiliency  
  • Influence executive decisions and align stakeholders through crisp technical narratives, transparent communication, decision documents, and outcome-based roadmaps  
  • Reimagine ways of working by simplifying processes, clarifying roles, and scaling governance across programs  
  • Leverage AI/ML to modernize processes and tools, identify automation opportunities, and deliver measurable improvements with engineering and data partners  

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills  

  • 10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations  
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical solutions, vendor product knowledge, managing vendor relations, and implementing solutions  
  • Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives  
  • Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments  
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives  
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills, distilling complexity into executive-ready narratives, visuals, dashboards, and data-driven storytelling  
  • Ability to connect delivery details, executive decision-making, and strategic trade-offs into actionable plans, measurable milestones, and clear ownership  
  • Experience as a change agent, driving adoption, behavioral change, and sustained outcomes  
  • Success reengineering operating models and ways of working, supported by metrics, experimentation, benefits realization, and outcome tracking  
  • Experience building executive stakeholder communities and aligning on strategy, trade-offs, and roadmaps  
  • Relevant certifications and/or advanced degree in a technical or quantitative field 

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills  

  • Experience delivering AI/ML-enabled capabilities from concept to production, including model risk, monitoring, and controls  
  • Success reengineering operating models and ways of working, supported by metrics, experimentation, benefits realization, and outcome tracking  
  • Experience building executive stakeholder communities and aligning on strategy, trade-offs, and roadmaps
