Job Description Summary

As an Assembly Production Supervisor, you will act as a key reference for coordinating production activities, leading the team to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while ensuring production flow continuity across short- and medium-term objectives.

You will operate in a high-responsibility environment, supporting shift organization, resource allocation, people development, and continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with FLIGHT DECK, Material Management, HR, and the Cell Leader.

Essential Responsibilities

  • The Assembly Production Supervisor will leverage experience and technical expertise to:

  • Solve problems and take decisions on production flow with impact on short- and medium-term objectives

  • Provide direction and guidance to production employees, including work assignments, shifts organization, scheduling of overtime, and training

  • Review daily activities to achieve the production schedules, customer satisfaction, cost goals, on time delivery, maintaining, at the same time, the highest standards of quality and achieving the highest EHS levels in the assigned area, for all products under his/her responsibility

  • Ensure full compliance to EHS rules and requirements, according with duties and responsibilities provided by law

  • Maintain and further develop a Visual Workplace including support for a 5-S program, active project boards, performance measure charts, and training program status boards

  • Support all company workplace policies including attendance and safety objectives

  • Work with HR to develop a performance-oriented work environment encompassing timely performance appraisals, reviews for new employees, and timely disciplinary action when warranted

  • Assist Cell Leader to make decisions in areas of process improvement and/or production to make appropriate resource decisions (manpower, fixtures, methods, scheduling) to facilitate the flow of units through the process

  • Support FLIGHT DECK/Material mgmt. teams on process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve inventory turns and reduce manufacturing losses

    Required Qualifications

    • High School Technical Diploma

    • A prior experience as Team Leader is mandatory

    • Availability for work shifts (three shifts) - extra shift could be requested

    • Deep knowledge and proven expertise matured in production: in terms of products, tools, manufacturing requirements and production process flow

    • Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions

    • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications and basic knowledge of systems for inspection and quality control

    • Good English knowledge

    • Work visa in accordance with local regulation is required

    • Only current GE Avio Srl employees are eligible

    Contract Level: CCNL metalmeccanico – C3

    Salary range for this role: ​ 30,525.00 - 40,700.00 + Performance-related bonus + PDR up to 6000 euro
    Compensation will be defined within the published salary range, reflecting the candidate’s experience, developed skills, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
