As a Front Office Supervisor, you’re not just supervising daily front office operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

The Team at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront is currently seeking their next Front Office Supervisor to join the team.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong English communication skills with guests, team members, and management, both in person and over the phone, with professional phone etiquette.
  • Supervise front office operations by leading team members through all front desk procedures, ensuring efficient check-ins, check-outs, accurate reservations, and exceptional guest service.
  • Lead day-to-day front office operations by providing training, coaching, and real-time performance feedback.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, property management systems (PMS), cash handling procedures, and front office standards to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and organizational skills while fostering a collaborative, guest-focused team environment.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Supervise front office team: Lead team members in performing all front office procedures, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest service delivery
  • Lead day-to-day team operations: Assign tasks, and provide training, guidance, and in the moment feedback
  • Lead guest issue resolution: Respond to guest inquiries and concerns directly while supporting team members in in handling complex or escalated issues
  • Manage lobby flow: Monitor guest traffic in the lobby and adjust team coverage in real time to maintain service efficiency
