Accountabilities:
- Lead revenue recognition processes across the full order-to-cash cycle, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 and ASC 606 standards.
- Collaborate with product, sales, legal, FP&A, and operations teams to design standardized contract structures and scalable revenue models.
- Drive automation and optimization of revenue systems, including ERP platforms such as NetSuite and related financial tools.
- Review non-standard contracts and new product offerings to assess revenue recognition implications and ensure accounting accuracy.
- Manage month-end close activities including reconciliations, variance analysis, and revenue reporting deliverables.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and governance frameworks over revenue accounting processes.
- Lead and mentor a growing team focused on revenue accounting, systems improvement, and process excellence.
- Act as key liaison for external auditors on revenue-related accounting matters and compliance reviews.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent, with strong technical accounting expertise.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS 15 and revenue recognition in SaaS, subscription, or software-based business models.
- Proven experience in revenue accounting, ideally within high-growth or multi-entity international environments.
- Strong background working with financial systems such as ERP, CRM, and revenue recognition tools (NetSuite and Salesforce preferred).
- Experience designing or improving automated revenue recognition or finance systems workflows.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring finance or accounting teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
