Expected pay for this position is $31.19 - $36.69/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Physician Credentialed Trainer is responsible for the initial and ongoing training and support of all physicians and advance practice providers, super-users and end users of the electronic medical record (EMR) hospital system.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: ​Associates Degree with 3 years experience in hospital environment with knowledge of informatics education and physician documentation. OR
  • 7 years experience in hospital environment with knowledge of informatics education and physician documentation. Epic end user experience
  • Licensure/Certifications: Epic Credentialed Trainer within 90 days of hire
  • Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: BSN or Bachelor’s Degree in health related field
  • Experience: Epic Super user, staff development and clinical informatics education experience
  • Other skills/knowledge: Possess current comprehensive cognitive knowledge about healthcare and clinical informatics including writing behavior objectives and organizing educational programs from conception to evaluation. Understands and practices patient confidentiality; displays problem identification and conflict resolution. Ability to assess and analyze needs, and coordinate/plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of computerized documentation programs Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
