Business Project Advisor - Cigna Global Health Benefits

As a Business Project Advisor, you will help business and technology partners deliver solutions that are ready for real-world use. In this role, you will lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across business processes, user workflows, reports, interfaces, and data validation. You will partner with stakeholders around the world to ensure solutions meet business requirements, support end users, and are ready for production release. 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead UAT planning, coordination, execution, and signoff for business-led projects and initiatives. 
  • Partner with business owners, subject matter experts, project teams, IT, and QA to confirm requirements and user scenarios are clear and testable. 
  • Develop UAT approaches, test conditions, test scripts, and test cases that validate end-to-end business workflows. 
  • Guide business partners through UAT execution, helping teams understand project scope, readiness expectations, and testing responsibilities. 
  • Track, monitor, and report UAT progress, results, and defects while coordinating resolution and retesting with project and QA partners. 
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to remove roadblocks, reduce delays, and support timely issue resolution. 
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities to improve workflows, readiness, and user experience. 
  • Support project proposals, business cases, and documentation by providing testing insight and business process knowledge. 
  • Build strong relationships across culturally diverse teams and support clear communication in a global work environment. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, project coordination, or UAT coordination. 
  • Experience leading or supporting User Acceptance Testing for business processes, workflows, reports, interfaces, or data validation. 
  • Strong ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into clear test cases and testing plans. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with executives, managers, and subject matter experts. 
  • Experience facilitating meetings, tracking issues, and driving follow-through across cross-functional teams. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information management, or related field. 
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated environment. 
  • Global work experience or experience working in culturally diverse organizations. 
  • • Understanding of business process improvement or process re-engineering. 


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 91,400 - 152,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
