You will work with microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native technologies while influencing technical decisions and driving continuous improvements across products and integrations. Accountabilities:

    • Design, develop, and enhance microservices responsible for processing and distributing clinical and laboratory data.
    • Build and maintain integrations between internal platforms and external partners.
    • Develop and optimize REST APIs for managing patient information, consent workflows, and related services.
    • Implement asynchronous processing solutions using messaging technologies such as AWS SQS and SNS.
    • Contribute to the evolution of event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
    • Work with data transformation and interoperability standards, including healthcare-related integrations.
    • Develop and maintain integrations with MongoDB, Redis, and third-party services.
    • Ensure software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
    • Perform troubleshooting and incident analysis in production environments.
    • Participate in technical discussions, architectural decisions, and continuous platform improvements.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance products, integrations, observability, and application performance.
    • Requirements

      • Solid experience with Node.js and TypeScript development.
      • Strong background in REST API design and microservices architecture.
      • Expertise in asynchronous programming and distributed systems.
      • Experience implementing automated testing strategies, including unit and integration tests.
      • Deep understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Code practices, and software engineering standards.
      • Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly SQS and SNS.
      • Knowledge of event-driven architectures, retry mechanisms, and fault recovery processes.
      • Strong experience with MongoDB, document modeling, query optimization, and Redis for caching solutions.
      • Familiarity with cloud-native environments, Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and YAML-based configurations.
      • Experience with structured logging, monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting in distributed environments.
      • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with a strong sense of ownership and continuous improvement mindset.
      • Nice to Have:

        • Experience with FHIR standards and healthcare system integrations.
        • Knowledge of clinical and laboratory interoperability platforms.
        • Experience with NestJS, Fastify, or Express frameworks.
        • Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, AWS S3, and Keycloak.
        • Understanding of authentication and authorization integrations.
        • Experience with high-volume, mission-critical systems.
        • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and sensitive data protection practices, including LGPD.
        • Experience with enterprise integration platforms and large-scale distributed ecosystems.
