Job Summary

This role concentrates on advanced data structures and pipelines development and maintenance, upholding quality and integrity in diverse storage solutions. It involves optimizing data flows, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to internal tool development. The role serves as a key expert, providing strategic guidance and innovative solutions in data engineering.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

SPM Functional & Implementation

• Support end-to-end implementation of SAP HANA SPM solutions (design → build → deploy → support)
• Translate business requirements into compensation plans, , and calculation logic
• Configure and optimize:
  • Compensation plans
  • Credit values
• Partner with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with sales performance strategy

Data & Integration (Core Focus Area)

• Partner to implement inbound and outbound integrations between SPM and external systems:
  • CRM (Salesforce, etc.)
  • ERP systems
  • Data warehouses (Teradata, Snowflake, etc.)
• Build and manage:
  • Source-to-target mappings
  • Data transformation logic
  • Batch and real-time interfaces
• Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and auditability of compensation outputs
• Support data ingestion, validation, and transformation pipelines

Operational Excellence

• Troubleshoot production issues related to compensation calculations and integrations
• Ensure proper data governance, lineage, and compliance
• Support UAT cycles, reconciliation, and post-deployment validation
• Maintain documentation across business rules, integrations, and system flows

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work cross-functionally with:
  • Sales Administration
  • Compensation Design
  • Data Engineering
  • Platform Development
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior team members
