We’re passionate about our work, and we’re building products and services that our customers genuinely love and trust. We’re not afraid to think big and be bold, as we’re building not only a future we believe in but a workplace culture that we’re proud to be a part of.

About the Product Team

The Engineering, Product and Design (EPD) Team at Euclid is a cross-functional, collaborative group of 19 Engineers, Designers and Product Managers. We’re currently split into two pods (or focus areas). We purposefully act as one team rather than hiring for specialized roles or specific pods. We value having teammates who are flexible and excited to work on different product surface areas as our product and business evolves over time.

Euclid is a remote-first company with headquarters in NYC and co-working spaces in Portland, OR and San Francisco, CA. This role is open to individuals based in the United States.

About the Role

As a Staff Software Engineer at Euclid, you’ll build our next generation of workflow tools and AI features that enable our customers to fund and break ground on renewable energy projects in months, not years. Collaborating alongside our team of renewable energy experts and our end users — both small and large renewable developers and financial institutions — you’ll turn complex workflows into intuitive user experiences.

Here are some of the exciting projects that we’ve recently shipped:

  • Red Flag Snapshot: A 24-hour AI-assisted, human-in-the-loop diligence to help renewable energy investors screen investment opportunities

  • AI-Powered Document Intelligence: AI tools that automatically classify documents and extract key data points into a structured, usable data model

  • Workflow & Collaboration Tools: Critical tools for renewable energy developers and investors to manage their work (e.g., schedules, compliance trackers, budgeting tools, etc.)

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of experience as a software engineer building web-based applications.

  • A proven track record in leading teams of experienced engineers, owning outcomes for large-scale or multi-team projects, and architecting scalable, reliable web services that are clean and maintainable.

  • Experience mentoring and supporting other engineers through formal and informal methods -- writing thoughtful code reviews, building upon or improving existing processes, or creating sustainable ways to elevate the team's work and share ideas.

  • Ability to influence across the org, foster collaborative working relationships with cross-functional partners, and actively shape a healthy, high-performing team environment.

  • Broad fullstack experience with modern languages and frameworks. We use (but do not require past experience with) React, TypeScript, Kotlin, and Rails.

  • Comfort operating in a remote, fast-moving environment: you navigate competing priorities, communicate clearly, and drive work forward with a high degree of ownership.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

  • ⌨️ Remote work, forever!

  • 🪄 Competitive benchmarked compensation

  • 🩺 Health and retirement benefits

  • 🌴 Flexible time off

  • 👶🏻 12 weeks of paid parental leave and flexible transition plan

  • 🚀 Exciting, mission-driven work that has impact

  • 💪🏽 Regular company offsites

How You’ll Be Compensated

The starting base salary for this role is between $200,000 and $240,000. Employees also receive equity in the form of options and benefits coverage.

We are committed to building an inclusive working environment and doing our part to create a more equitable world. We strongly encourage applicants from underrepresented and/or historically marginalized communities to apply.
