Accountabilities:

The AI Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering advanced AI-powered solutions while contributing to the architecture, reliability, and scalability of intelligent platforms. The role requires strong collaboration across engineering teams and the ability to translate complex AI concepts into practical business outcomes.

• Develop and maintain AI-driven applications using Python and modern AI/ML frameworks such as Strands, LangChain, or similar technologies.
• Build and optimize agentic AI workflows, including prompt engineering, evaluation processes, and human-in-the-loop (HITL) governance models.
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using vector databases and knowledge retrieval systems.
• Develop integrations using Model Context Protocol (MCP), API gateways, and cloud-based services.
• Work with AWS AI and serverless technologies, including Bedrock AgentCore components, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Contribute to the development of secure, multi-tenant AI platforms with strong identity management and operational controls.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and performance optimization strategies for AI applications.
• Support the selection, testing, and improvement of foundation models, prompts, and AI system behaviors.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver reliable AI solutions aligned with user needs.
• Apply best practices in software engineering, architecture, and quality assurance within AI development environments.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate has a strong background in software engineering and artificial intelligence, with hands-on experience building scalable AI solutions and cloud-based applications. This role requires technical depth, curiosity, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-evolving environment.

• Professional experience developing AI-powered applications and software solutions.
• Strong Python programming skills with experience using AI/ML frameworks such as Strands, LangChain, or equivalent tools.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and AgentCore components, including Runtime, Gateway, Memory, Identity, and Observability.
• Experience designing and implementing RAG architectures and working with vector databases such as OpenSearch, Pinecone, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and API-based integrations.
• Experience with AWS serverless architectures and cloud-native development practices.
• Familiarity with agentic software development lifecycle practices, including prompt engineering and AI evaluation workflows.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and develop scalable solutions.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience implementing LLM security practices, including prompt injection prevention and content filtering.
• Knowledge of multi-tenancy architectures and identity management in SaaS environments.
• Experience with intent classification, conversational AI flows, and chatbot architectures.
• Familiarity with distributed tracing, token analytics, and AI observability tools.
• Experience with LLM-as-a-Judge evaluation approaches and AI quality assurance pipelines.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and real-time telemetry processing.
• Experience with foundation model optimization, fine-tuning, and advanced prompt strategies.
