The OpportunityThe Commercial Solution Sales Executive (Content) is responsible for driving new business and expanding existing customer relationships across the German-speaking region of Switzerland. Working in close partnership with Account Executives, Customer Success, Professional Services and Solution Consultants, the Commercial Solution Sales Executive serves as the Content Management subject matter expert, helping customers modernise information management, automate business processes and accelerate digital transformation.The role focuses on commercial and upper mid-market organisations across the Manufacturing & Industrial, Financial Services & Insurance, and Life Sciences & Healthcare sectors, identifying opportunities to position the OpenText Content portfolio, including Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Content Services, Intelligent Capture, Document Management, Records Management, Workflow Automation, Digital Process Automation and AI-powered Content solutions.This is a quota-carrying overlay sales role responsible for driving software, cloud and subscription revenue through consultative solution selling. The successful candidate will engage business and IT stakeholders, uncover customer challenges, develop value-based business cases and support opportunities from qualification through successful close.You Are Great AtSolution SalesDriving Content software, cloud and subscription revenue across a portfolio of commercial and upper mid-market customers.Partnering with Account Executives to identify, qualify and close new opportunities.Building trusted relationships with CIOs, IT leaders, business executives and line-of-business stakeholders.Positioning the OpenText Content portfolio, including Enterprise Content Management, Content Services, Intelligent Capture, Workflow Automation, Document Management, Records Management and AI-enabled information management solutions.Business DevelopmentDeveloping territory and account plans to generate pipeline growth.Identifying whitespace opportunities within existing customers while acquiring new business.Managing multiple sales opportunities simultaneously through a structured sales methodology.Delivering compelling executive presentations, discovery workshops and value-based solution discussions.CollaborationWorking closely with Solution Consultants, Customer Success, Professional Services and Channel Partners to deliver successful customer outcomes.Collaborating with Marketing on demand generation activities, customer events and industry campaigns.Maintaining accurate forecasting, opportunity management and CRM hygiene while contributing to regional growth objectives.What It TakesExperience selling enterprise software, SaaS or cloud solutions.Proven success selling Enterprise Content Management, Content Services, Information Management, Workflow Automation, Document Management or Digital Transformation solutions.Strong consultative and value-based selling skills with the ability to engage both business and IT stakeholders.Experience working in partnership with Account Executives in an overlay or specialist sales role.Fluent German and English are required.Willingness to...
