  • Participate in discovery calls and visits with our users, synthesizing research into key insights that support your decisions
  • Partner with product managers throughout the design process to deliver solutions that bring value to our users and our business
  • Work closely with engineers, QA, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and constraints, and iterate on ideas quickly
  • Participate in design reviews by sharing your work and providing constructive feedback to other team members
  • Contribute to the design team's culture of collaboration and support
  • Mentor junior members of the team

  • Experience working on enterprise or vertical SaaS
  • Expert proficiency in Figma
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and methodologies, with experience conducting user research and usability testing, and making data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Figma Make, Claude Code) to enhance various stages of the design process—synthesis, ideation, and prototyping
  • Ability to travel up to six times per year for team meetings and customer visits
  • Familiarity with the commercial trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and/or construction, preferred but not required
  • An understanding of HTML and CSS principles, preferred
  • Familiarity with tools like Dovetail and Jira, preferred

Who You Are

  • Comfortable navigating complex and ambiguous projects in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-starter who is hard-working and naturally takes initiative
  • Detail-oriented in everything you do
  • Passionate about design, with a relentless commitment to creating exceptional user experiences
  • Someone who cares deeply about doing excellent work that helps make people's lives better
  • Collaborative and supportive, contributing to a strong team culture

Compensation

  • [124,000.00 CAD - 155,000.00 CAD / year] base salary + annual bonus opportunity (Toronto hub)
