Accountabilities:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
    • Reinforce pre-sales best practices, sales methodologies, and performance metrics to drive consistent team success.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and development planning to support continuous improvement.
    • Partner closely with Sales leadership to execute regional sales strategies, support pipeline growth, and achieve revenue targets.
    • Guide Solutions Engineers through consultative selling engagements, helping identify expansion opportunities and deliver technical value to customers.
    • Support customer meetings, executive presentations, technical demonstrations, and Proof of Value engagements.
    • Identify operational challenges within the team and implement scalable solutions that improve efficiency and customer outcomes.
    • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales campaigns and customer success initiatives.
    • Travel approximately 30% to support customers, team development, and business objectives.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
      • 3–5+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales, Solutions Engineering, or Sales Engineering teams within a software company.
      • Demonstrated success managing technical teams while consistently supporting revenue and quota achievement.
      • Strong understanding of consultative sales methodologies and enterprise software sales cycles.
      • Experience coaching Solutions Engineers on opportunity qualification, technical discovery, customer engagement, and expansion strategies.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders and technical audiences.
      • Proven ability to build trusted customer relationships and develop technical champions within enterprise accounts.
      • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
      • Experience with Security, Observability, IT Operations, DevOps, or related enterprise technology solutions is strongly preferred.
      • Must reside in the Western United States and be willing to travel approximately 30%.
