Accountabilities:
- Architect, develop, deploy, and optimize machine learning models and AI-driven applications for production environments, with a focus on areas such as search, recommendation systems, and conversational experiences.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to validate hypotheses and improve product performance and customer outcomes.
- Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to uncover insights and develop scalable predictive solutions.
- Apply scientific methodologies to generative AI initiatives, including prompt engineering, evaluation of AI agents, proof-of-concept development, and assessment of guardrails and model capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, software engineers, machine learning engineers, and UX professionals to deliver impactful solutions.
- Contribute actively to technical discussions, design reviews, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and strategic decisions within the broader data science community.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to fellow data scientists, promoting best practices and continuous learning.
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or related disciplines, preferably in high-growth or technology-driven environments.
- Strong expertise in machine learning concepts, including regression, classification, clustering, neural networks, feature engineering, model explainability, validation techniques, and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of the engineering aspects involved in deploying and maintaining machine learning systems in production.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and experience working with data science and machine learning frameworks.
- Knowledge of deep learning methodologies and modern AI techniques.
- Experience with applied generative AI technologies, such as large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, AI agents, model fine-tuning, monitoring, routing, and governance frameworks, is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to work independently in ambiguous and complex scenarios.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
- Advanced academic background in Data Science, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, or related fields is considered a strong advantage.
