BAE Systems seeks an experienced and energetic Program Engineering Manager (PEM) to contribute to our established and rapidly expanding engineering team in the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) product line within the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Atack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area. We are looking for a PEM who can coordinate and manage the engineering activities and is interested in a leadership role in the growing Product Line. Responsibilities:
- Project execution leadership to technical team; plan, execute, and manage all engineering efforts within the project, serving as the engineering focal point for all activity including overall accountability for the engineering solution to technical, schedule, and cost.
- Partner and collaborate with program managers, operations, quality, functional engineering managers, subcontractors, and factories to ensure program goals, requirements, and needs are understood and achieved
- Monitor project plans and execution to ensure technical and work scope requirements, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained
- Effectively communicate with clear, concise messaging as the engineering lead and technical interface for team, management and customer meetings
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time onsite. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Active Secret Security clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance with SAP accesses
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline with at least eight years of experience or a Masters degree with at least six years of experience in engineering development or production of electronic systems
- Experience leading diverse multi-disciplinary teams to the solution of technical problems
- Product engineering acumen within one or more disciplines, and engineering management experience, to include: planning, estimating, and execution

- Planning and organizational skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems
- Team building skills that enable collaboration and coordination within and across teams, functions, and other business units.
- Demonstrated leadership skills (soft skills, strategic thinking, leading teams, building relationships).
- Written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Degrees and/or direct job experience within an engineering discipline.
- Previous job experience operating within classified and/or a Special Access Program environment.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
