We are seeking an experienced and Certified Oracle Fusion Payroll Functional/Technical Software Engineer to join our team. As a subject matter expert, you will lead the design, configuration, and optimization of our Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll solutions. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Payroll, seamless integration with Oracle Time and Labor (OTL), and advanced proficiency in Oracle Fast Formulas programming. This role is critical in ensuring our payroll systems align with the best global practices and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation (Functional) 

  • End-to-End Delivery: Lead the functional design and configuration of Oracle Fusion Payroll modules, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and legislative reporting.
  • Requirements Engineering: Analyze complex business needs and translate them into detailed functional specifications and system configurations.
  • Validation: Conduct fit-gap analyses, prototype solutions, lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Technical Logic & Integration (Technical) 

  • Oracle Payroll: Support integration between OTL, Absence and Payroll to ensure accurate data flow and streamlined time-to-pay processes.
  • Fast Formula Development: Design and test complex Fast Formulas for payroll calculations, validations, and accruals to minimize custom coding.
  • Technical Collaboration: Partner with technical teams on HCM Extracts, Reports and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) requirements.

Operations & Support

  • Lifecycle Management: Support the full implementation lifecycle, from initial discovery through post-go-live support.
  • Documentation: Develop high-quality functional design documents, test scripts, and end-user training materials.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current on Oracle Cloud updates and industry trends to advise on system enhancements and new features.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve complex payroll functional issues and provide expert guidance to internal teams.

 

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
  • Location – Hybrid
  • Experience: 
    • Total IT: 5+ years.
    • Oracle HCM: 3+ years (EBS and/or Cloud).
  • Certifications: 
    • Oracle Payroll Cloud Certified Implementation Professional 
  • Technical Mastery: Proven expertise in Oracle Fast Formulas 
  • Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of Payroll processes
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

Preferred

  • Certifications:
    • Oracle Time and Labor Cloud Certified Implementation Professional 
    • Oracle Absence Management Cloud Certified Implementation Professional
  • Familiarity with HCM Extracts and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Knowledge of HCM implementation and HR/Payroll business and system processes
