Systems Administrator (IMO/C4ISR)

Our work depends on a Systems Administrator joining our team to help build and enable the readiness of our Nation's Army in the Pacific!

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

  • Monitor and maintain the health and performance of C4ISR systems
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups
  • Deploy, configure and troubleshoot network devices (to include cabling) for exercises, training events and/or special projects
  • Integrate various C4ISR components and systems in a LVC environment
  • Implement and manage security policies and configurations
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations and changes
  • Configure and optimize systems to meet operational requirements
  • Implement and manage security policies and configurations

  • Provides input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials  
  • Prepares reports on analyses, findings, and project progress, and presents results to management and/or customer personnel  
  • Serves as a customer interface to resolve problems and ensure requirements are met on a timely basis
  • May serve as a technical team or task leader 
  • Follows DoD Directives and Instructions 8140, 8570-01-M, Army regulations AR 25-2, NIST Special Publications 800-53, 800-39, as well as following guidance from other cyber agencies in USARPAC CSPMO, and NETCOM 
  • Participate in other projects as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: BA/BS preferred in computer science, information systems, or, systems administration; OR the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training
  • Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience; Military and/or MTC experience preferred
  • Required Technical Skills:
    • Technical expertise in C4ISR systems and related technologies
    • Expert knowledge on all common MCiS platforms
    • Expert with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting
    • Practical experience with account provisioning and access control
    • Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security practices
    • Experienced in configuring and maintaining networking hardware/software systems to include routers, switches and firewalls
    • Understanding of database management systems (DBMS) and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Certification: COMPTia SEC+ is required
  • Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance is required
  • Required Skills and Abilities:
    • Superb communication skills;
    • strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on C4ISR systems;
    • Ability to document, report, and resolve technical issues
    • Location: On Customer Site/some travel required to other customer sites

The likely salary range for this position is $75,650 - $102,350. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
