The Opportunity

As an Enterprise Architect, you will provide strategic guidance and direction to Customers for maximizing their digital marketing effectiveness and online sales.  You will help customers define their digital vision and marketing strategy across channels.  Use your deep knowledge of digital marketing technology to align overall solution architecture to digital marketing strategy. Deliver solutions to help customer manage the brand visibility, customer engagement and content supply chain in the modern AI-first world. Build strategic partnerships with Customers in planning, implementing and optimizing digital marketing initiatives, creating a digital and AI first culture and mastering digital operational excellence.  Use the latest best practice learning from the industry to help Customers ensure that customer digital experiences are fully integrated and personalized at large scale and continuously fine-tuned via data driven insights. 

Lead customers to put a stronger emphasis on targeting and optimization and apply data-driven insights to fine tune planning and improve digital ROI.

As the most significant leader, you will utilize your executive presence, digital marketing and technical architecture expertise to guide cross-functional project teams through definition, deployment and optimization stages of Adobe multi-solution engagements and ensure Customer success.

Who you are

The successful EA will have either deep digital marketing product/tool implementation expertise (Adobe or other competing Solutions) with an interest in focusing more on digital marketing strategy or deep business expertise in digital marketing (i.e. worked in online marketing, ecommerce marketing, product management, customer data platform or equivalent) with an interest in diving deeper into solution architecture.  You should bring 10+ years of relevant experience and have excellent executive presence.  You understand the importance of rock solid digital marketing strategy in order to respond to today’s digital challenges.  You have the subject matter expertise, passion and leadership to successfully guide Adobe customers to exploit digital technologies to create new sources of value for their customers.

Your responsibilities

       Strategic excellence:

  • Drive Customer’s digital marketing strategies based on industry best practices
  • Help customers to exploit digital technologies to create new sources of value for their customers
  • Lead Customers to become operationally agile via digital technologies
  • Break down Customer strategies into phased roadmaps according to Customer priorities, industry best practices and technology prerequisites and dependencies
  • Align roadmap phases to executable use cases
  • Align Solution Architecture in support of Customer use cases and strategy
  • Design the transformed customer journey in AI era.

Execution excellence:

  • Act as Lead Consultant on large, complex customer engagements that may involve multiple project teams from Adobe, Client, or partner organizations
  • Represent Adobe Consulting as the Enterprise Architect directing the solution strategy, architecture and lead implementation for Adobe Experience Platform and Experience Cloud solutions and support account teams and presales to position Adobe digital marketing solutions for optimal value realization
  • Understand the current state of the organization -wide architecture and experience and marketing capabilities. Identify key business drivers and technology capabilities required to achieve clients’ optimal state
  • Oversee project delivery process with key contributors to help manage scope and prepare change requests, including tasks, deliverables, milestones, resources, and estimated costs.
  • Break down complex business and technical strategies and roadmaps into consumable requirements for Adobe Solution teams to execute against
  • Maintain regular communication with both the customer and internal teams, and constantly manage customer expectations
  • Build relationships with executive and senior client leadership. Engage and evangelize recommendations to executive and senior client leadership teams. Achieve customer satisfaction through successful delivery of defined project scope and expanded partnership / ongoing engagements
  • Compile customer requests and deployment issues, to provide a feedback channel into our core products
  • Capture and communicate experiences in formal post-mortem, feeding lessons learned, best practices and resources back into the consulting practice
  • Grow Adobe’s Enterprise Architecture Practice and work closely with team of engineering architects to help solution architect custom frameworks. Continually grow your footprint and role within the client engagement and relationship.

Your skills and experience

  • 10+ years relevant experience in any of the following jobs
  • Enterprise Architect or Consulting - delivering enterprise-scale web applications or analytics implementations
  • Digital Marketing Product Management
  • Other Digital Jobs including Online/Mobile/Content/eCommerce marketing, UX, Web Analytics, CDP, CRM, Optimization, etc.
  • Experience designing and/or implementing solutions for any of the following: Web Content Management, Rich internet applications, Web & Social Analytics, Marketing Automation, Online Ad targeting, Content Personalization, Customer Data Platform, Campaign Management system.
  • Detailed knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices on topics such as personalization, cross channel marketing, mobile, data driven optimization of experiences, transformation with AI.
  • Familiarity with the following languages and technologies: HTML, HTML5, CSS, XML, Java, WCM, Web analytics, content targeting, Big Data, RDBMS, Web Service, Message Brokers, Kafka or similar technology.
  • Innovative thinker and willing to be a pioneer within Adobe Consulting
  • Fantastic executive presence, capable of gaining trust of C level executives
  • Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, solve them quickly and well, and know when to rely on internal resources to assist
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Superb organizational skills to be able to coordinate complicated projects
  • Exceptional team building and team management skills, with proven experience managing virtual teams
  • Ability to manage in an environment of ambiguity with diverse stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%

Desirable but not essential

  • Prior experience with the launch and operation of a highly available, high traffic internet or mobile service
  • Understanding of custom software development processes and engagement methodologies
  • Experience in managing agile development projects
  • MBA
  • Experience as Consulting Manager or Senior Manager in a large consulting organization
  • Experience managing off-shore teams.
  • Certified ScrumMaster, PMP Certification
