Position Overview: In this role, you will support airplane subsystem manufacturing, production readiness, and delivery center flyaway operations. You will be a key technical leader, partnering across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain to improve producibility, strengthen manufacturing processes, and ensure successful delivery of advanced aerospace products.

We’re seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who brings:

What You’ll Do
Lead the development, refinement, and optimization of manufacturing processes for airplane subsystems and related production activities.
Drive production readiness efforts by identifying risks, removing barriers, and improving process stability and execution.
Serve as a trusted technical partner across engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain teams to resolve complex manufacturing issues.
Support delivery center and flyaway operations by improving flow, increasing efficiency, and strengthening product quality and delivery performance.
Apply data analysis, engineering principles, and hands-on problem solving to identify and implement meaningful improvements.
Participate in design, production, and readiness reviews, providing expert input on manufacturability, assembly, tooling, producibility, and risk mitigation.
Lead or contribute to root cause analysis, corrective action, and systemic problem-solving efforts.
Help ensure a safe, efficient, and high-performing production environment.
Influence improvements that support cost, schedule, quality, and delivery objectives.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
9+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers
Experience with aerospace production
Experience with 2D blueprints and 3D model based instruction
Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)
Strong communication skills
Experience in project management and planning within a manufacturing environment
